Consultation Hui: refresh of competencies. code of ethics, scope of practice

We are seeking your thoughts on the refresh of the key guiding documents (competencies, code of ethics and scope of practice) of occupational therapy.

Phase two of the consultation for this mahi is about to get under way and we want to make sure all stakeholders have the opportunity to be involved in this process.

We are introducing changes to reinforce Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles and obligations, and to ensure occupational therapists are responsive to the need for interdisciplinary models-of-care. This includes being capable in the use of digital tools that benefit of clients.
