CCFR requirements for recertification

Created by OTBNZ News on 09/04/2010

Recertification is a good time to think about your Continuing Competency Framework for Recertification (CCFR). It can be a convenient time to carry out an annual self-review but please remember that there is no requirement to finish objectives and activities before your Third Party completes their attestation. Recertification is not an annual performance appraisal. All you need to do is to ensure you have one current objective in each of the seven competency areas and that your Third Party has enough information about what you have achieved, what you are intending to do, and any major changes (e.g. job change, maternity leave) to be able to attest that the completed and current objectives are appropriate for a practitioner of your experience and position to maintain their competency.
